Working Together, Aiming High, Shining Brightly
Let your light shine before others - Matthew 5:16

The school's gymnastics teams competed at the District Finals. The year 1 and 2 gym team came first and now represent Bedford Borough at the County Finals in Leighton Buzzard. The year 3 and 4 team came third out of 16 teams and just missed out on a County Finals spot. We are very proud of all of them.

The school celebrated World Book Day in style. All the children dressed as their favourite book character and took part in a range of activities. All teachers read stories throughout the morning to engage children in their favourite books. Children brought a book to school that they could swap at the swap shop. Unfortunately, the snow cut short our day, but we will finish activities later in the term.

In February, the school had a music enrichment day. The children spent the whole morning composing music using the stimulus of Benjamin Britten the storm. In the afternoon, all children took part in a Caribbean music workshop and got the opportunity to play steel pans. They also learnt and performed songs by Bob Marley. A great day was had by all.

Maple Class We watched the story of 'Chicken Clicking'. She made a lot of mistakes online which we discussed as a class. We drew round our hands and made red hands for information we do not give out on the internet e.g name, address, etc and green hands for information that is safe to give out e.g favourite colour.
