School Closures
Although we do not take school closures lightly there may be occasions when, for Health and Safety reasons, we do need to close the school. The main causes of closures are weather related but there may be other reasons including issues with fuel or problems with the building.
If we do decide to close, we will do our very best to let you know using the following methods:
- We will contact the local radio stations ‘ Three Counties ’ and ‘Chiltern Radio’ who will broadcast the closure
- Messages will be posted on the Bedford Borough website.
- We will contact parents through our text messaging service. Please make sure your mobile numbers are up to date and notify the office if you change your number.
- When possible we will also post the information on our web-site
Please check all sources of information if you think the school may be closed.
Please take all reasonable precautions if you are travelling to school during inclement weather conditions.
