On behalf of the children, staff and governors I’d like to welcome you to Milton Ernest C of E Primary School. Milton Ernest C of E Primary School is a village school at the heart of a rural community and is part of a federation with Eileen Wade Primary School in Upper Dean. We believe in collaboration and teamwork to ensure the highest aspirations and the very best outcomes for all children across the Federation.

As a Church of England school, faith is central to our school's ways of learning and living. Worship and reflection form a central part of our school life. At Milton Ernest we pride ourselves on nurturing all of our pupils through our school Christian values: truth, patience, respect, peace and love. These values underpin all that we do, ensuring high quality relationships and positive attitudes to learning.The life skill of team work is embedded in everything that happens. The future of the school is shaped by children, parents, Governors and the wider community. We hold an open door policy which allows everybody to contribute; we believe in working in partnership with you to ensure the best for all our children.

Our Vision
At Milton Ernest C of E Primary School we believe that education enriches people’s lives and aspirations. We value everyone and strive for all to reach their full potential. We base our work on the principle that children learn most effectively in a secure, exciting, challenging and inclusive environment that nurtures a life-long love of learning. As a Church of England school, Christian faith is central to our school’s ways of learning and living.
We work in partnership with parents, the local community, All Saints Church, other schools in the area and fellow professionals to build our children’s social, emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual and ethical skills.
