Oak class is taught by Miss Whitmore with Mrs Dhesi as the year 5 and 6 HLTA.

 Learning for this term

This term we will be writing a range of genres including, poetry, story writing description and creative writing.

This term will focus on properties of shapes, ratio, algebra (year 6), position and direction and we will be carrying out investigations. perimeter, 

Our topic in Geography and History this term will a local environment study

PE is on a Tuesday and Wednesday this term, please come to school dressed in PE kit on these days.

Homework

TT rockstars, targets will be given out on a Monday and will be checked the following Monday.

Topic homework will be due every other Friday. Please see the grid sent home or on seesaw. 

Please read with your child at least 3 times per week and mark it in their reading record - they will be entered into the reading raffle for reading 3 times at home.

Please can children learn their spellings for the weekly test on a Monday.
